Shahi has produced the most amazing foal, PSA Safeerah. Both are doing well,

and mum is just beginning to give her a bit of freedom, exciting times. The

sire is PHA Silvern Risalm and we hope to have a future riding star, but only

time wil tell. Latest Update - I think she will be a future star, she is so

so sweet.

Emira has been on in hand training school, and is now away being backed and

getting a taste for her first ridden shows. So far, three wins out of three

shows, followed by a fourth place, second place and fifth place, but there is

not much scope for improvement as the ring side comments make her a

favourite. This year she has notched up another win and Reserve Champion, a

second and third place, and has qualified for Horse of the Year Show. Latest

Update - Emira was the winner of the AL Waha Arabian Stud Pure Bred Ridden

Arab Mares at Horse of the Year Show 2011, being produced by the incredibly

talented Darren Crowe.

2012 Emira attained her Premium Status as a result of her success in the show

ring.

Mazie is busy in training for dressage and ridden competition and now shows

off by doing leg yields when being walked in hand, just for fun. She has a

great sense of humour. She is now in foal to her uncle, Sambist, with a view

to create another beautiful son or daughter for him. Sambist produces the

most phenomenal foals, they have stunning looks, great confirmation and

fabulous movement. They tend to excel at racing or endurance, and we are

hoping for success racing, but if nature plays a trick on us, it will have to

be endurance, or hacking. There is still plenty of time for things to change

and three or more years of growing once the foal arrives.

*** Update ***

Mazie has produced the sweetest filly ever, such a cuddly baby who wants to

be friends with everybody. Malika demonstrates the bond with humans from the

very beginning that Arab horses have been renowned for since they lived in

the tents with the Bedouins.

Fharida was resting and having the summer off, but we decided to back her a

few weeks ago. She came second in her first show, an Open Anglo, Part Bred

and Pure Arab Class, so we are very pleased. She is showing more promise than

both of the others surprisingly. She will be a serious contender under saddle

and in hand next year, we hope.

Jan has updated his show reel which can be downloaded by following the link
